New Wellness Center Kickoff Campaign Underway for Wesley Glen Retirement Community.

(north Clintonville) On Wednesday, May 12 at 4:00 p.m. Wesley Glen Retirement Community will hold a Campaign Kickoff for a new Wellness Center.   Efforts to raise $600,000 at Wesley Glen are well underway.   In November of 2009, the Board of Trustee for The Wesley Communities approved plans for a Wellness Center at Wesley Glen. It will be connected to the west end of the current Health Center and will include a lap pool, a warm water therapy pool, a fully equipped state-of the-art fitness center, therapy space, meeting rooms, and much more. It will not only serve the residents, but also members of the surrounding community. 
Wesley Glen, a nearly 400-resident continuing care retirement community, has served north Columbus since 1969. Wesley Glen is an affiliate of The Wesley Communities which developed as part of the mission of the West Ohio Conference of The United Methodist Church.

In August of 2008, the Board of Trustees adopted a new vision statement for The Wesley Communities,   “Promoting a positive experience of community and wellness for resident, clients and staff.
