 Wellness Coordinator

Part-time

Job Description

As the Wellness Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing a variety of daily wellness programs to both residents and employees while helping to improve their health and wellness.

Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Implement positive programs to change behavior, improve health and quality of life, prolong life and achieve total well-being.
  • Coordinate the Wellness Program including administering, developing, promoting and conducting all wellness programs for both residents and employees
  • Coordinate yearly Health Risk Assessments
  • Develop programs to encourage residents and staff to take ownership of their own health
  • Develop outcomes that will measure the effectiveness of the wellness program and how individuals are meeting their personal goals
  • Personal training
  • Overseeing and conducting exercise classes

 Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field as well as a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field (Health Promotion, Health Management, Fitness). 
  • Good communication skills and self motivation 
  • Advanced computer literacy; Microsoft Office and Publisher
  • Must have extreme attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Creative and innovative approaches to marketing and strong people skills are required
